Read Your Own Birth Chart
- When
- Saturday, November 28
- 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM · 4h
You've probably had your chart read. This afternoon is about learning to read it yourself. We'll start with the three things everyone asks about (Sun, Moon and Rising), then work outward: what the planets, signs and houses each mean, how to spot the aspects that matter, and how to put it together into a story that sounds like you instead of a horoscope column. By the end you'll be able to sit down with your own chart, or a friend's, and actually make sense of it. Bring your birth date, place and time (as close as you can get; your birth certificate usually has it). I'll print everyone's chart ahead of time, so please email me your details at least three days before. Notebooks, colored pencils, tea and something sweet are on me. No background needed. If you've taken a class with me before, use the Returning Student ticket; you'll get the new handouts and a few extra minutes on your own chart at the end. Saturday, 1:00 to 5:00 PM with a break halfway. We're in the casita behind my house, parking on the street. It's one level, no stairs. Kept to 24 so everyone gets their questions answered.

Wes Calloway
Teacher
Wes taught high-school earth science in Flagstaff for nineteen years and has been casting charts for longer than that. He's read for a few thousand people since moving to Sedona in 2014, but what he loves most is the moment in a class when someone stops asking him what their chart says and starts telling him. He teaches the way he taught teenagers: plain words, lots of drawing on the whiteboard, no question too basic.
