Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms govern your use of Eventasaurus. They explain what we do, what event organizers do, and what you agree to when you sell or buy tickets through the platform. Please read them before creating an account or completing a purchase.
1. Who we are, and who you are contracting with
Eventasaurus (“Eventasaurus,” “we,” “us”) operates a ticketing and festival management platform at eventasaurus.app. We provide the software that organizers use to publish schedules, sell tickets and passes, and check attendees in at the door.
We are not the event producer. Every event listed on Eventasaurus is created, priced, staffed, and delivered by an independent event organizer (“Organizer”). The Organizer is the merchant of record for their events. When you buy a ticket or pass, you are entering a contract with that Organizer for admission to their event — not with Eventasaurus. We facilitate the transaction and provide the technology; the Organizer is responsible for the event itself.
“You” means whoever is using the platform: an Organizer running events, an attendee buying tickets, or a staff member scanning them.
2. Accounts
You need an account to sell tickets, and to access tickets and passes you have purchased. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and take responsibility for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Organizer accounts belong to an organization. Whoever creates the organization can invite check-in staff and add administrators, and is responsible for who they invite and what those people do. You must be at least 18 years old to create an Organizer account.
Organizers can connect other apps, scripts, and AI assistants to their account with an API key or by signing in with Eventasaurus. A connected app acts as you, with your permissions, and you are responsible for what it does. You can revoke its access at any time in Settings.
3. Fees and payments
Eventasaurus charges Organizers a platform fee of 1% of the order total, with a $1.00 minimum per order. Free orders carry no platform fee.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Organizers connect their own Stripe account, and funds from ticket sales are paid out directly to the Organizer by Stripe on Stripe’s payout schedule. Our platform fee is deducted at the time of the transaction. Stripe charges its own processing fees, which are separate from our platform fee and are set by Stripe.
Organizers are responsible for their own use of Stripe, including completing identity verification, and are bound by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Organizers are also solely responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any sales, entertainment, or other taxes that apply to their events.
If you ask us to set up your event for you, we quote a one-time flat fee before we start, and nothing is charged unless you agree to it.
We may change our fees. If we do, we will give Organizers notice before the change takes effect, and the new fees will not apply retroactively to tickets already sold.
4. Tickets, passes, and admission
A ticket or pass is a revocable license to attend an event, subject to the Organizer’s rules. It is not property, and it does not guarantee a seat, a spot in a session, or any particular experience. Capacity limits, schedules, presenters, and venues are set by the Organizer and can change.
Do not duplicate or forge tickets or QR codes, or resell them where the Organizer or the law does not allow it. You can transfer a ticket or pass to someone else from My Tickets. Each QR code admits one person to its event once (a ticket for two comes with two codes); a pass admits its holder to the events it covers. A code that has already been used for an event will be rejected. Organizers may refuse or revoke admission in line with their own published policies and applicable law.
Refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
5. Organizer responsibilities
By publishing an event on Eventasaurus, you as the Organizer agree that:
- You have the legal right to produce and sell tickets to the event, including any rights needed for the films, performances, music, images, and names you list.
- Your event listings, schedules, prices, and refund terms are accurate and not misleading.
- You will honor the tickets and passes you sell, and will handle refunds and attendee support for your own events.
- If you cancel an event and don’t reschedule it, you will refund every ticket and pass holder in full, as described in our Refund Policy. You are responsible for chargebacks, dispute fees and refunds on your sales, because they are paid from your Stripe account.
- You will publish a contact email and a refund policy for your events. Both are shown on your event pages and in attendees’ confirmation emails, and replies to those emails come to you.
- When you refund an order through Eventasaurus, our platform fee is returned to you in the same proportion. Refunds issued outside Eventasaurus (for example, in your own Stripe dashboard) are between you and Stripe; our fee is returned only if you choose to refund the application fee there.
- You will comply with all laws that apply to your event, including consumer protection, accessibility, health and safety, tax, and data protection requirements.
- You are the data controller for attendee information collected through your events, and you will use it only for operating those events.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Eventasaurus to:
- Sell tickets to events that are fraudulent, illegal, or that you cannot deliver.
- List content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy.
- Access data belonging to another organization, probe or test the security of the platform without our written permission, or attempt to bypass authentication, capacity limits, promo code restrictions, or check-in controls.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download platform data, or use automated systems to place orders.
- Interfere with the platform’s operation, distribute malware, or place disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
- Use the platform to launder money or process payments unrelated to a real event.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to us at support@eventasaurus.app rather than exploiting it. We appreciate good-faith reports.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — event descriptions, logos, banners, presenter photos, schedules. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform and your events, including in embeddable widgets and search-engine previews. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in routine backups.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these terms or the law.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Eventasaurus at any time, and Organizers may close their account by contacting us. If you have unfulfilled events with sold tickets, you must resolve them, by producing the event or refunding attendees, before your account can be closed.
We may suspend or terminate an account, remove listings, or disconnect payment processing if we reasonably believe there has been fraud, a serious breach of these terms, a legal requirement to do so, or a pattern of chargebacks or unfulfilled events that puts attendees or the platform at risk. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first. Where the risk is immediate, we may act first and explain afterward.
If we terminate your account without cause, we will give you reasonable notice and export access to your event and attendee data.
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep Eventasaurus fast and available, particularly during on-site check-in, and our check-in tools are designed to keep working when a venue’s network drops. Even so, the platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we may perform maintenance or change features over time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventasaurus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of your use of the platform.
We are not liable for the events themselves. That includes an event being cancelled, postponed, relocated, oversold, or different from what was advertised, and anything that happens to you at an event. Those are the Organizer’s responsibility, and claims about them should be directed to the Organizer.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Indemnity
Organizers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eventasaurus and its personnel from claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising out of their events, their content, their use of attendee data, or their breach of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the “last updated” date above and notify account holders by email or an in-product notice. Continuing to use Eventasaurus after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. Tickets already purchased stay governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@eventasaurus.app. Most issues are resolved faster by email than in a courtroom.
