What the fee actually costs

Platform fees on real orders, side by side, as of October 2026. Eventbrite shown at its standard published US rate (3.7% + $1.79 per ticket, which it adds to the buyer's total by default). Card processing is excluded from both columns: Eventbrite charges 2.9% per order, Stripe 2.9% + 30¢.

Pricing questions, straight answers

What exactly do you charge?

One platform fee: 1% of the order total, with a $1 minimum, charged once per order — not per ticket. A $200 order with four tickets pays $2, total. Free orders pay nothing at all.

What about card processing fees?

Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per order in the US, more for international cards) applies to paid orders and is deducted before your payout. Every ticketing platform charges card processing in some form; Eventbrite, for example, adds 2.9% per order on top of its service fee. We don't mark Stripe's fee up, touch it, or add anything on top. Many organizers simply price it into their tickets.

When do I get paid?

Directly. Payments flow through Stripe Connect straight into your own Stripe account and pay out on Stripe's standard schedule. Your ticket revenue never sits in our bank account.

What happens on refunds?

When you refund through Eventasaurus, we return our platform fee too: all of it on a full refund, the matching share on a partial one. You should never lose money on a refund because of us.

Are there setup fees, monthly plans, or contracts?

No, no, and no. Setting up yourself is free: no subscription, no annual platform cost, no per-attendee charge, no charge for scanning, schedules, embeds, or promo codes. If you sell nothing, you pay nothing. The only extra is optional: if you'd like us to build your event for you, that's a one-time flat fee (free for pilot festivals).

Is there a catch for large festivals?

The 1% rate doesn't change with volume. A 5,000-attendee film festival pays the same rate as a 300-person yoga retreat. The math above simply scales.
