The fine print
Who counts as my referral?
An organizer who creates an Eventasaurus account within 90 days of clicking your link. If they clicked more than one partner’s link, the first one counts. If someone came because of you but signed up without the link, tell us and we’ll credit you.
What exactly do I earn?
20% of the fee we keep on their orders. Our fee is 1% per order with a $1 minimum, so a $150 order earns you 30¢. Refunded orders don’t count, and a partial refund lowers your share in proportion. Free tickets and cash sales carry no fee, so they earn nothing. The organizer never pays more because of you.
For how long?
24 months from the organizer’s first paid sale, not from the day they signed up. Most festivals sell once a year, so that covers two full seasons.
When and how do I get paid?
Earnings wait 30 days in case of refunds. At the start of each month we pay everything that’s ready once you’re owed $25 or more, by bank transfer or PayPal. Less than that rolls over to the next month.
Taxes
You’re an independent partner, not an employee, and your taxes are yours to handle. Before your first payment we’ll ask for a Form W-9 if you’re in the US, or a Form W-8BEN if you’re not.
Playing fair
When you recommend us, mention that you earn a referral fee (in the US the FTC requires it, and it’s just honest). No spam, no ads bidding on the Eventasaurus name, and no referring yourself or your own organization. We can remove a partner who breaks these.
Can the program change?
We may change or end it with 30 days’ notice by email. Anything you earned before the change is still paid.
